WASHINGTON ATHLETIC CLUB WEDDING- Kristine and Tyler

Kristine and Tyler’s Washington Athletic Club wedding was amazing! I was so honored to be able to capture not one, but TWO ceremonies for them. They had a special intimate ceremony and first look at St. Thomas More Parish to celebrate their ten year anniversary of dating. Their big celebration was a few weeks later at the Washington Athletic Club in downtown Seattle. They have been together for ten years! But these two have known each other even longer than that. No one can tell their story better than Kristine herself,

“Tyler and I have known each other since third grade, and in fifth grade, we were even partnered for the big annual project to build toothpick bridges. You could say we’ve been working as a team for a long time. We ended up going to different middle schools, and when we met each other again in high school, we didn’t start dating until our sophomore year.

We both went on the school symphonic orchestra trip to Italy in 10th grade (before we started dating), and Tyler’s friends kept throwing us together into the shops that dot the winding streets of Siena, Florence, Milan, and Rome. Eventually, it all came to a head on the second to last night of the trip, when our group went to an Italian discotech, Tyler asked me to dance… and I said no. I still feel really bad about that. But we kept talking when we got home, and when Tyler asked me to be his girlfriend, I turned red and told the floor yes. We’ve been together ever since, went to the UW together, and have a lot of fun with our shared love of baseball, stuffed animals, Pokemon, and each other.” – Kristine, bride

To say their wedding ceremonies were beautiful would be an understatement! Kristine just radiated joy. Tyler’s smile beamed knowing she was finally his WIFE! See below for all of the awesome vendors who were a part of making this all happen.
