Where to begin!? This wedding was so unique and special. The bride, Winona, is an amazing artist and metalsmith and made a lot of the details of the day including the groom’s ring!

It all began with swing dancing sixteen years ago! Winona met Evan at a swing dancing group and they became acquaintances. It wasn’t until seven years later though, that they reconnected over Myspace and they met up for arts walk in Seattle. And as they say. the rest is history…Together now for nine and a half years, they travel around the country in their converted 1972 Crown school bus. Evan works in stage/show production and Winona has her studio space in their bus.

I can’t think of a more perfect setting for their fall wedding! Nestled in the Snoqualmie Mountains, Cabin Creek Lodge is a beautiful, secluded venue…and they were able to park their bus/home right next to the lodge! How awesome is that!? So naturally we had to get photos with their bus and Pumpkin, their orange cat!

Most of the details of the day were DIY made by Winona herself. She made her stunning headdress, Evan’s ring, the owl cake topper (I think I may have taken way too many cake photos, but I love owls!), and the bridesmaid’s necklaces. Be sure to read the vendors list for the full details!

These two are so genuine and fun! Winona didn’t even mind that it rained most of the day. They were up for anything, even SEVERAL rain shots where we all got soaked. But it was worth it, the photos turned out as magical as their wedding day!
